Mr. Founty W. Hixson age 92 of Henagar, Alabama “formerly of Birchwood, Tennessee” passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at his residence. He was a truck driver for Southwest Motor Freight for many years. Founty was a wonderful story teller and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Funeral service is Friday, March 4, 2022 at 4pm cst in Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thurston Garrett officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 2pm cst until time of service at Kerby Funeral Home on Friday, March 4th. Family will receive friends on Saturday March 5, 2022 from 10am est until 12pm est at Grasshopper Church of God in Birchwood, Tennessee.
