Mr. Cecil Gant, Jr. age 81 of Pisgah, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Highlands Medical Center. Funeral service is Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm from Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. He is survived by: Wife of 59 years: Bennie Gant Son: Russ Gant and wife Shana Grandchildren: Eric Gant, Patrick Gant, Kelsey Gant, Macie Gant, and Bevin Gant He is preceded in death by: Parents: Cecil Gant Sr. and Susie Gant Brothers: Grady Gant, Leon Gant, and Calvin Lee Gant Son: Cecil Gant, III (Monte)
