Mr. Billy Joe Walker, age 79 of Henagar passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center. Funeral is Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Lea and Bro. Larry Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. He is survived by: Wife of 33 Years: Opal Walker; Sons: Billy (Lisa) Phillips, David (Jen) Walker, and Mark (Tonya) Gilbert; Daughters: Tammy (Tommy) Bradford, Sandy (Jerry) Teague, and Tammy (Ed) Andrade; Sister: Lola Jean Hall; Grandchildren: Cody (Taylor) Gilbert, Lee Bradford, Paige Gilbert, Michelle Dye, Ethan Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Christian Andrade, Jaxon Andrade, and Conner Andrade; Great Grandchildren: Araya Dye, Ryder Dye, Adaley Gilbert, Praylee Gilbert, Legend Whritenour, Victoria Bradford, Rosie Bodiford, and Lilly Bodiford; Several nieces and nephews He is preceded in death by: Parents: Alex and Mary Walker Son: Joey Walker
